Wells Youth Baseball’s (WYB) mission is to provide opportunities for our community players to learn and compete in a safe and enriching environment. We strive to develop the skills, sportsmanship, and character of our players while promoting the values of teamwork, respect, and fair play. We are committed to enhancing the well-being of our community through baseball. 

As in years past, WYB provides a transition from youth to high school baseball.  To that end, WYB fields 7th and 8th grade teams at various skill levels in the Junior Baseball Organization (JBO).  These “Senior” level teams play on full-size fields, the same size used for the high school to the major leagues, and essentially play high school rules. A goal of our Senior program is to prepare players to play in high school.   

More recently, WYB has provided coach-driven opportunities for younger players. These may include forming “Select” teams to supplement players’ little league experience or JBO teams at the younger age divisions. Among the goals of our younger program is to offer competitive and other skill building opportunities in a community-based setting.
